This morning, a Father and Son property maintenance team heard some peeping come from a tree that had been cut down. They discovered these baby woodpeckers and immediately brought them here – tree and all!!

It was clear that these babies had been orphaned or abandoned after their nest was destroyed. We are very grateful that they were found!

These 4 Red-bellied Woodpeckers will be raised at our hospital and will eventually be released! Thank you again to their rescuers ❤️❤️
